Williams (1993) - HABITAT.—"Found excavating chambers in the sponge Xestospongia sp. which was living between the branches of a colony of Madrasis formosa at 50 m on the fore reef at Discovery Bay, Jamaica" (Scott et al., 1988:483, in account for U. annae).
