Comment: Among differences with Bouvieraxius longipes there are low spines on upper margin of larger chelae that are not illustrated/indicated in Bouvier (1925) and the submedian carinae have 4 spines instead of 3 indicated by Bouvier (1925). However, Poore & Collins (2009) indicate that this character can varies from 3-4 in Bouvieraxius keiensis Sakai, 1992 (cf. mail P. Dworschak September, 2015). Bouvieraxius longipes is indicated by error from Puerto Rico (300 m), as type locality in Sakai & de Saint Laurent (1989), because Bouvier (1905, 1925) mentions only Barbados for this species.

Comment(s) on data
For a species in Paraxiopsis the antennal acicles of the Guadeloupe Karubenthos 2015 specimens are too long (cf. P. Dworschak, mail September 2015).
