Parapontocaris ?vicina - Guadeloupe (first record for Lesser Antilles?), Karubenthos II 2015, field det. J. Poupin [Based on Dardeau & Heard (1983); it seems that there are 5 spines on midline of carapace, the first one being broken; .], st. CP4513, 8 June 2015, 16°12.58'N, 61°53.14'W, 644-406 m, MNHN-IU-2013-18765.
Comment: Karubenthos specimen determined with hesitation because 5 spines seems to be present on midline of carapace but the anterior one is apparently broken. The color of this specimen is different than other specimens attributed herein to P. caribbea. If confirmed by examination of the specimen and characters described in Dardeau & Heard (1983) this will be the first record of this species in Lesser Antilles.
