Fennera chacei Holthuis, 1951 sensu strico - Indian Ocean to American coasts. Eastern Africa, Kenya, Seychelles, Réunion, to Hawaii, French Polynesia, Clipperton, Galapagos.

Vertical range : Shallow-waters (0-100 m) - Min-Max observed: 1-10 m
