World Distribution
(Shahdadi & Schubart, 2020: 442 - Zootaxa) - The only specimen known for this species was collected from Europa Island, Grand Lagoon with mangroves and dead coral blocks (Poupin et al. 2012: st.14 in Fig 1).

Parasesarma gazi Cannicci, Innocenti & Fratini, 2017 - Shahdadi et al., 2020, Zool. Journ. Linnean Soc., tab. 1 - Europa Island, 1 male, 12.2 × 10.1 mm, MNHN- IU-2012-660 (type of L. dispersum).

Poupin J., Gravier-Bonnet N., Zubia M., Tisné N., 11.Nov.2011 (Biodiversité, Ressources et Conservation des Récifs Coralliens des Îles Éparses (BIORECIFE) program, station 14) (see Poupin et al. 2012).
Remarque - Cannicci et al. (2017, Zoologischer Anzeiger, http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.jcz.2017.08.002) had suggested that this Europa record of P. lenzii and those from Madagascar by Crosnier (1965) probably belong to their new species described from mangrove in Kenya and Tanzania, Parasesarma gazi Cannicci, Schubart, Innocenti, Dahdouh-Guebas, Shadadi & Fratini, 2017.
