(Macpherson et al., 2020, TDSB) - Arabian Sea, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Andaman Sea, Saint Paul, New Amsterdam Islands, Sulawesi, Fiji and Tonga, Tuscarora Bank 686-1235 m. Papua New Guinea, 680-894 m

Environnement : Marine - Substrat/Association : Hard bottom (rock and rubbles)

Vertical range : Deep (more than 100 m) - Min-Max observed: 495-1226 m

Munida microps - Macpherson, 1994: 496, fig. 32 (Philippines, New Caledonia, and Chesterfield Islands, 970–1240 m) - See Baba et al. (2008: 107), probably not this species but M. aprosoma instead.

Central Pacific data (Wallis & Futuna, Polynesia, Clipperton, Easter Island)
Munida microps - Macpherson, 1996a: 397, Tuscaroa Bank, MUSORSTOM 7, CP564. - Baba et al., 2008: 107, same. (other record of M. microps in Macpherson attributed with ? To M. asprosoma).
