FRENCH POLYNESIA - Several new records awaiting formal publication, cf. mail G. Poore March 5, 2020 -Eucalliacidae from FP include Calliaxina novaebritanniae (Borradaile, 1900), Eucalliaxiopsis inaequimana Dworschak, 2014 and a new species of Eucalliaxiopsis similar to E. panglaoensis. The new name should have been published in a substantial paper on this family last month but seems now delayed. Another paper on Callichiridae is near completion but now waits for the museum to reopen so that I can do final drawings. This records Corallianassa borradailei De Man, 1928, Corallianassa martensi Miers, 1885, Glypturus armatus (A. Milne-Edwards, 1870), Neocallichirus calmani (Nobili, 1904) and Neocallichirus vigilax (De Man, 1916) from Moorea. The last is genetically quite variable through the Pacific but seems to be one widespread species.
