New Caledonia data
Bathicaris brasiliensis var. howensis - Verschaka et al. (2019 - Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society, tab. 1, Appendix 1) -New Caledonia/HALIPRO 2/ 1996, MNHN-IU-2019–2308 - Morphological examination of the type material of Ba. howensis and Ba. iridescens by the authors also did not reveal significant morphological differences between these species. Therefore, here we consider Ba. howensis as a junior synonym of Ba. iridescens.
