Distribution (Mclay & Ryan, 1990: 114; Poupin, 1994: 57): large Indo-West Pacific distribution from Red Sea to Japan, Hawaii, French Polynesia and Easter Island. - Hard bottom; Littoral with terrestrial affinity.
