Eastern Atlantic — Senegal, Mali, Liberia, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, St. Thomas and Prince, Gabon, and Congo (Giebel 1875; Hobbs 1980; Hobbs & Hart 1982; Ramos-Porto & Coelho 1998; Melo 2003; De Grave & Mantelatto 2013; Mantelatto et al. 2016c). - There were doubts about the wide distribution of this species in the literature, but it has recently been confirmed to be amphi
