World Distribution
Osawa (in prep. 2023) - Christmas Is., Philippines. Possibly also Mayotte from DBE photographs (2023).

Environnement : Marine - Substrat/Association : Hard bottom (rock and rubbles)

Vertical range : Shallow to deep-waters (e.g. 10-190 m) - Min-Max observed: 8-139 m

Paguridae new genus, new species, Osawa in preparation, 2023 - Mayotte Island, Grotte Bateau Sud, 25 March 2023, 139 m, photo G. Barathieu (DBE). T. Komai kindly informed us (March 2023) that this species matches well that of Hui et al. (2014 Raffles Bulletin): 411, fig. 13 (photo by Yoshihisa Fujita). According to Osawas (pers. com. 2023) it is a new genus, species with a description in preparation, based on specimens from Christmas Is. and the Philippines.
