World Distribution
(Anker & Goy, 2023, Zootaxa) - Presently known only from several localities on the Atlantic coast of southern Florida north of Miami, e.g., Hollywood (Keating Beach, Dania Beach), Pompano Beach, Lauderdale by the Sea, and Boynton (Figs. 3, 4, 5A; A. Dimitris, pers. comm.), and a photographic record from Roatan, Honduras.
Possibly also St Vincent and Grenadines based on a color photo showing the remarkable red dots of this species, posted on iNaturalist (Goy, Anker, pers. com. 2023). See at https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/71550102
