World Distribution
Müller (1994) - Red Sea (Gulf of Aqaba; southern tip of Sinai Peninsula; Gulf of Suez); Persian Gulf (Iran: E of Qeshm; Saudi Arabia: Al Jubayl; Bandar Mish'ab); Pakistan; Indonesia (near Jakarta). Possibly New Caledonia, but see Ahyong (2001).

Environnement : Marine - Substrat/Association : Hard bottom (rock and rubbles)

Vertical range : Intertidal - Min-Max observed: 0-1 m

New Caledonia data
Ahyong (2001: 49) - Moosa’s (1991) record of Gonodactylus botti from New Caledonia is probably based on G. annularis.
