Ahyong (2001: 72; 2012: 31) - French Polynesia to Okinawa, Australia, Indo-Malayan region to the western Indian Ocean. Includes Réunion, Comoros (Mayotte), Mozambique channel (Europa), New Caledonia, Mauritius. Also New Zealand (Ahyong, 2012).

Environnement : Marine - Substrat/Association : Hard bottom (rock and rubbles)

Vertical range : Shallow-waters (0-100 m) - Min-Max observed: 0-10 m
