By Adrien Cantat (August 2025, corrected from L. maculata) with these comments "- Lysiosquilla maculata porte une marque plus sombre sur l'écaille antennaire et la cornée bilobée est couverte de points blancs. - Lysiosquilla sulcata est plus petit, possède une écaille antennaire unie, la cornée sans points blanc est bilobée et séparée par un trait jaune."
