Neaxius trondlei Ngoc-Ho, 2005: 59, fig. 6-7 (Holotype: Marquesas Islands, Ua Huka, MUSORSTOM 9, stn 19, Hane bay, W coast, with algae, corals, pebbles, 5.X.1997, male cl. 29 mm, tl. 78 mm (MNHN Th 1419). See Anker et al. (2015, Lombok), Sakai (2011) - This species is treated as a synonmy of Neaxius glyptocercus (von Martens, 1869). Not accepted by Poore & Dworschak (2018).
