Widely distributed in the Indo-West Pacific. Indian Ocean: African coast, to West Pacific: Japan and Central Pacific: Hawaii, French Polynesia (Gambier, Marquesas, Society, Tuamotu) - Littoral.

Material examined — Mayotte KUW 2009, st. 1, Trévani beach, intertidal, 1 M 9.2 x 14.8 mm, MNHN B32489, MNHN-IU-2009-1251.
Remarks — This species is close to Thalamita admete (Herbst, 1803), also collected during KUW fieldwork. The determination is based on aspect of male pleopod, as illustrated in Vannini & Innocenti (2000: 278, fig. 54), the outer face of palm is smooth with a single costa along ventral margin, extended to fix finger.
