Material examined — Mayotte KUW 2009, st. 12c, La Prévoyante reef, at night, 6-12 m, 2 MM 9.5 x 14.1 and 10.3 x 14.9 mm (photo '10,2x15,7'), MNHN B32515, MNHN-IU-2009-1275; st. 35, Surprise reef, Longoni pass, 4-25 m, 1 M 20.5 x 34.6 mm photographs, 1 F juv. with sacculina, MNHN B32490, MNHN-IU-2009-1252.

Remarks — Specimens examined agree very well with diagnosis and illustrations in Apel & Spiridonov (1988: 260), especially for shape of male pleopod.
Geographic and depth ranges — IWP, Red Sea, Mozambique channel (Mayotte, Europa) to Marshall Islands, Kiribati, French Polynesia; subtidal to 25 m.
