Comment: color pattern and morpholofy of this species are almost similar to sibling species in central Pacific, Plesionika fenneri Crosnier, 1986 (J. Poupin pers. obs. in Guadeloupe and French Polynesia).
Comment(s) on data
This is a sibling species of Plesionika fenneri Crosnier, 1986 in Central Pacific. These species should probably be integrated in the new genus Heteronika Hendrickx, 2019 [with Heteronika nesisi (Burukovsky, 1986), H. alexandri (A. Milne-Edwards, 1883), H. unicarinatus (Borradaile, 1915)]. See comments under Heteronika nesisi.
