Macpherson & Robainas-Barcia (2015, Zootaxa) - Previous records from Japan (Ryukyu Islands), Taiwan, Indonesia (Banda, Gorong and Marsegu Island), and Torres Strait; subtidal to 10 m). Present material from the Philippines and Papua New Guinea and New Caledonia (Lifou Island); 0–32 m.

Environnement : Marine - Substrat/Association : Hard bottom (rock and rubbles)

Vertical range : Shallow-waters (0-100 m) - Min-Max observed: 0-32 m
