Remark – It would be interesting to check these specimens from Suriname and French Guiana because Plesionika polyacanthomerus can be confused with Plesionika macropoda Chace, 1939 and/or P. williamsi Forest, 1964 (Poupin, 1994: 26; Chan & Crosnier, 1997).
