Comment: this determination is based on Chace (1940) and Tavares (1996). Overall the specimen is similar to Simodorippe tylota. Its frontal region is somewhat different,with median teeth pearl like at tip and exorbital teeth more acute which is perhaps in the range of specific variations for this crab.
