Comment: This species apparently never listed since its description and not included in futher revisions of the Venezulan fauna, including Margarita Island (Rodríguez, 1980; Hernández et al, 1999; Lira et al., 2013). According to Türkay it is affiliated to Pyromaia arachna Rathbun, 1924. The specimens 1 male holotype (SMF 4344), 2 males, 2 females paratypes (SMF 4345) are deposited at the Senckenberg Museum Frankfurt (SMF).
