Lauriea aff. gardineri (Laurie, 1926). - Poupin et al., 2022, Naturae, MNHN, https://doi.org/10.5852/naturae2022a8 : 148 - Mayotte, photo in situ in soft coral, Gabriel Barathieu, November 2018. Tentative det. from photo, a specimen needed for correct identification. The color pattern is distinct from that of L. gardineri typical as illustrated in Macpherson & Robainas-Barcia (2013, fig. 9A). Potentially a new species because its color pattern not matching any of the species in opt. cit. (Fig. 9).
